Confessions of a Terrible TV Watcher
So, I have about one hour to myself at night -- after the kiddos go to sleep and before I drag my own bottom to bed. And how do I choose to spend it? With Bret Michaels! (Admit it. You love this show too.) I am so conflicted! Who should have Bret's eternal love? The stripper with the big...heart whose devotion is so true that she had his name permanently inked across the back of her neck? Or the hipster with the pink cotton-candy hair? I like her best, but I'm just not sure that she really, really loves Bret. And he deserves that, of course.

Whaaaa??!! No!!! How have we not discussed this before? I (and dear, usually uber-serious husband) caught the first epidsode while staying with my tech-savvy, Tivoing sister and LOOOVED it. Since we don't have cable, I've been in mourning. I even had someone send me a VHS(!!!) tape of a couple episodes. Glad to hear the pink-haired one is still in the mix. But who is the stripper? There are so many to choose from--oh, the temptations of Bret....
I totally love that show!!!!!!!! I started watching it late, but my favorite episode was when Lacey and Brandi both got so drunk that they puked at the dinner table.
Brett will probably pick the stripper but he SHOULD pick Jes with the pik hair. She is a better person. There will just be too much DRAMA with the stripper, although she is funny.
P.S. I don't think Brett is all that smart. I know. This is surprising news. And I was most intrigued to learn that "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" is about a stripper. It gave me so much more INSIGHT into the lyrics.

RR -- My absolute favorite line from last night's show was when, in the midst of the catfight between Lacey and Heather, Bret says, "I am not a problem-solver."
We must discuss Rock of Love!!! We will chat later, because now I have to grade 40 papers. Arrrrgh. But I am VERY happy that he picked Jes (the pink haired girl). I liked her. The stripper was full of DRAMA. However, what about Bret being a diabetic and drinking like crazy??? That is a no-no. I dated a diabetic and alcohol whacks out your blood sugar. Is he crazy?? Oh right. But anyway, I hope they are still together. I would Google it now to find out but then I would NEVER grade these 40 papers.
